Hi, I'm Raquel!

By trade, I’m an archaeologist, and my love of history naturally flows into my art. I’ve always been fascinated by the way beauty and darkness coexist, and my paintings often carry slightly darker tones, weaving in threads of history, myth, and human emotion. For me, these themes aren’t about gloom, but about honesty, often exploring the parts of life that are raw, powerful, and transformative.

 

Through this, my work is created for those who are drawn to meaning beneath the surface, people who feel at home in symbolism, who are curious about the past, and who want art that tells a story rather than just decorates a wall. Every piece I create is personal, a way of connecting with moments, emotions, and narratives that can resonate differently with each person who sees them.
